At Single Parents Wellbeing, we have an exciting opportunity for young people across Cardiff, Newport and Swansea. We are recruiting for 12 young people to join our 2025 Youth Action Academy - an 8 month volunteer programme for 16-24 year olds with experience of being in a single parent household.Deadline to apply is Monday 17th February.
It is a programme to gain volunteer experience with vulnerable children and teenagers, gain training including Mental Health First Aid training aswell as have meetings to discuss the needs of the young people we engage with.
The aim of this academy is to give young people the opportunity to help us improve the mental health and wellbeing of children from single parent families.
