We are excited to share we have a 2-day Get Hired Event in partnership with JD Sports is coming to Cardiff this August!
This 2-day Get Hired Event is open to young people aged 16~30, living in and around Cardiff, who are keen to gain invaluable bespoke insight and advice from JD Group professionals, receive Employability Skills workshops from our dedicated Prince’s Trust Youth Development Leads, Interview preparation and access to live opportunities.
Get Hired with JD Sports
• Dates: Wednesday 28th & Thursday 29th August
• Time: 10:00am – 4.30pm Wednesday & Thursday
• Location: Prince’s Trust Cardiff Centre, 16 Ocean Way, Splott, Cardiff Bay, CF24 5PE
• No. of Places on the Taster Day: 25 (maximum)
Day 1 Wednesday 28th August: Candidates will receive an industry sector specific introduction from the JD Sports professionals, undertake employability workshops with the Prince’s Trust Youth Development Leads, customer service and so much more.
Day 2 Thursday 29th August: Candidates will undertake further employability workshops and interview preparation, followed by live interviews for live opportunities with JD Sports representatives.
Misc Details
• Person Spec: Candidates No experience necessary, but an enthusiasm for customer service / retail would be beneficial.
• Lunch will be provided on both days and travel expenses reimbursed
• Job Opportunities ~ available in Cardiff, Caerphilly & Llantrisant
• Criminal Convictions: All convictions will be considered on a case-by-case basis but anything serious or theft-related are unlikely to be considered by the employer due to their own strict policies on criminal convictions.
