We are excited to announce that places are still available for our summer programme, designed specifically for young people aged 16-18 who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). The program will run for five days, starting the week of August 19th, at CAVDAS CYP, St. Claire's Court, The Wharf, W Bute Street. The sessions are held from Monday to Thursday between 10am and 2pm, and Friday from 12pm to 4pm.
The week will include a wide range of fun activities, including:
- Awareness Sessions on County Lines and Knife Crime by Fearless
- Substance Use Awareness with CAVDAS
- Bleeding Package and Awareness Session with BXcellence
- Peer Stories with Cullan Mais
- Naloxone training
- First Aid and Food Hygiene Level 2 Qualifications
- MMA Training with Fight Homelessness
- Employability and Education Sessions with ITEC, Cardiff City Football Club, and the British Army, where they will discuss opportunities available
- Last day of paddleboarding at Llanisien Reservoir
All lunches are provided throughout the week.
