This is a safe and happy environment in which to learn. Our sixth form also enjoys a proud tradition of excellence in nurturing the achievement of all learners. Taught by subject specialists who are passionate and knowledgeable, the quality of teaching and learning at Cardiff High School is exceptional. We encourage aspiration and support pupils to achieve and to excel in whatever they choose to do. We offer over 25 subjects at A level with the option of Skills Challenge and have outstanding success rates in terms of students securing their individual chosen pathways. This includes progress to employment, apprenticeships, Oxbridge, and Russell Group Universities.

Admission Information

Cardiff High welcomes students from all schools. Being in the catchment is not a requirement for Sixth Form admission. Offers are subject to students achieving the minimum admission qualification of 5 or more GCSEs at grade C or above. (some subjects have specific entry requirements, these will be explained on the open evening).
